Export audio tracks from your video editing project
from the official website.
Exporting audio separately is a convenient way to share sound clips, voiceovers, or background music with other creators, collaborators, or platforms that may not support video files. Sending an audio file is usually faster and more efficient than sharing a large video file. If you create videos for various platforms like YouTube, podcasts, or social media, having separate audio tracks allows you to repurpose the content in different ways. For instance, you can extract the audio from a tutorial video and convert it into an audio-only podcast episode or create a soundbite for social media promotion.
Press the Export button positioned beneath the video player to open the Export Settings window.
Click Audio File icon on the left side of the Export Settings window.
Choose audio format based on your specific requirements.
Although MP3 is widely supported by most media players and devices, FLAC boasts superior audio quality but comes with larger file sizes. When deciding on an output format, remember that the quality of the original files plays a critical role. A low-quality file cannot be significantly enhanced when exported as FLAC due to data compression limitations. Converting a high-resolution file to MP3 might result in a slight loss of quality since it is limited to 320 Kbps.
Choose an appropriate name for your audio file and change a location where the audio file will be stored. Click Browse and select the desired folder using File Explorer or input the path directly into the Save to field.
Finally, hit the Start button to initiate the export process.
