Automatically detect scenes in your videos to make seamless transitions
from the official website.
Scene detection is the process of automatically identifying where one scene ends and another begins in a video sequence. This can be an important task during video editing, as it helps to organize the footage and make the transition between scenes seamless. Scene detection algorithms look for visual cues such as changes in lighting, color, or camera angle to determine where scenes begin and end.
To automatically detect and divide your clip into scenes, navigate to the Timeline and select the clip. Within the More Tools, select the Video tab. Click on Scene detection.
You can specify minimal duration of one scene. Click on Detect Scenes.
Once initiated, the software will automatically segment your video into individual scenes. You may then edit or delete any unnecessary segments as needed.
