To import an image or video file into Movavi Video Editor and use it as a watermark, follow these steps:
Step 1. Locate the Import icon on the left-hand sidebar and click on it to open the File import tab. Here, you can select the image or video file you wish to use as a watermark by clicking the "Add Files" button.
Step 2. For optimal results, choose images with transparent backgrounds as they will allow for better blending with the video content. Browse through your computer's files and select the desired image or video file to import.
Step 3. Once you have selected the file, drag it to the extra track located above the other clips.
Step 4. To edit the overlay, double-click on the watermark clip to enter edit mode. Here, you can move and resize the watermark as needed.
Step 5. To adjust the opacity or duration of the watermark, click the "Clip Properties" button. This will open a new window with various options for customizing your watermark's appearance and behavior.
Step 6. In this window, you can move the Opacity slider to adjust how transparent or opaque the watermark appears. For example, setting it to 100% will make the watermark fully opaque, while setting it to 0% will make it completely transparent.

A text watermark is a text overlay that appears on top of your video content, serving as a unique identifier, branding element, or creative addition. To add a text watermark in Movavi Video Editor, click on the Titles icon located on the left-hand sidebar -- this will open up a panel filled with various title styles.
